once, doesn't mean throw them away. You're just thrifty. Nothing at all wrong w/ this, and you're helping our environment, by not disposing of anymore 'trash' until you're absolutely ready too. I wash my baggies out all of the time, reuse them. Now if the baggie is really yucky, and contained a meat (I don't really reuse those baggies I use to store meats in), I don't reuse, unless it's for a non-food item to store something else in the house other than foodstuffs.
