In reply to the discussion: Headline Changed: Kilmar Abrego Garcia back in US to face charges of helping traffic 'thousands' of migrants [View all]chowder66
(10,645 posts)64. He said he was driving workers from the job site they were on in St. Louis.
Someone like a boss or a colleague could have asked him to drive them to the next job site. They didn't have any luggage which is why the trooper suspected trafficking but that still doesn't mean that Kilmar was aware. He was just driving them to a drop off point it seems. Supposedly the FBI told the TN troopers to let him go but that's all getting really sketchy. They say to talk to TN and TN supposedly hasn't released all of the video where they are talking to Federal agents.

Tell all the other immigrants to testify against him so they won't be sent off to a horrible prison in another country?

I'm thinking that's the case as I've suggested twice in the thread. AND they are holding a press conference right now

That's what it said when I posted it. It has changed but it's in the first paragraph now.

Oh I didn't take it that way. I'm glad you mentioned it because they change their headlines all the time.

He ran an illegal immigrant trafficking organization from Maryland?? Doesn't that seem a little unlikely??

TACO chickened out again? It was 'no way/impossible' that Kilmar would be brought back?

What sucks is that there will be no jury trial about the deportation so it won't come into the trial for trafficking.

They're playing this up for the stupids in the base that believe anything they say.
