8. So, everyone with a Real ID already has a copy of their birth certificate and marriage license (if needed) on hand

Real ID provides that states' licenses and ID cards must include a photo, signature, address, birthdate, gender, document number and other "security features". (source: govfacts.org)

Presumably, given that Real ID gave states 21 years to be fully implemented, all the states have issued those necessary, verified, valid IDs.
