Yesterday

1) That sort of manual labor is 'below' a man of his stature (in his mind). 2) it implies a level of fitness and willingness to do physical work he does not have.

I'd believe he pointed and said "Hey, Marco, hang that gold thingy over there" but he didn't hang shit. I guarantee it.
