First of all how would one stop all sports ?

And why do you think that would help fight back against Trump?

Simpler solution:

A year from now, the economy will be in recession, with higher unemployment and double digit inflation. If Dems don’t cave and agree to the Republican proposed temporary extension (set to expire in January 2027) to the ACA subsidies, then millions will see their healthcare premiums at least double (unless republicans cave and agree to make the subsidies permanent).

Latest poll shows Dems ahead of republicans by 9% in a generic ballot. Analyses I have seen suggested, to counter gerrymandering, a margin of 3-4% percent is needed for Dems to retake the house.

Imagine what that margin will be a year from now.

Dems will still retake the house, and everyone can still enjoy sports, including watching the Jays beat the Dodgers
