By the seventies it was a different company. They were selling "distributorships" and using product to find prospects to recruit in to distributors.
It became impossible to buy product. We'd never be able to buy more than twice from any distributor because they'd recruit some suckers and they no longer carried product, it became catalogue sales.

Good product, scammy company. I don't want to sell memberships, I just want a good detergent.

I would go to their big meetings, because their motivational speakers were good and I enjoyed the places they were held at, and the restaurants were always pretty good, and almost always some double ruby distributor would treat to demonstrate how successful they were.



Funny, I don't have any of my service decorations, but I do have a small Navy service pin you'd need a microscope to read, and that NFL pin.
