2. I have a friend who thinks that illegal immigration is a really big problem.

Of course, vastly bigger than I think it is. One person's mountain is another's molehill. It definitely does not invoke war powers acts or whatever moth-eaten, forgotten clause might be lying around to abuse.

Methinks that the insane income disparity is vastly more serious and debilitating (unlike cheap labor looking for day work) and in fact, if there were more equality in the world, people might migrate less to this country seeking a basic living wage.

I know of a young person in REDACTED country who supports a family by collecting and selling loose plastic bottles.

But there I go, blaming the cause instead of the symptom.

Politics is largrly poison. Especially the "fascist playbook" version.
