(3,899 posts)27. In Texas many counties now opt to have Vote Centers.
        We have had the ability during early voting to vote at any early voting location for awhile now. A few years ago Hays County joined a number of other Texas counties adopting Vote Centers, which allow our county's voters to vote at any location in the county on Election Day too. 
Some counties probably don't have the population to go that route. But it makes it possible for those who have moved within the county to still vote and not have to go back to the precinct in which they originally registered.

        Exactly!  Also a Texas voter; however,  in a red area that went 70-30% Republican in 2016 and 2020.
