Almost 3x as many as Twitter. Also many more Americans get news off digital devices than any other source.
I personally only read. I won't change my habits but I'll start to pay attention to you tube and pod casts, tick tock, and more.
Many are dissatisfied with our political parties, and I don't think Trump will scratch that itch.
Last week there was a thing with gender and women's sports in congress, polling shows an 80/20 split nationally, 67/30 amongst Dems, yet every Dem voted contrary to the tendencies of their own constituents. So it's not a left right divide in the traditional sense. On many issues the country is nowhere near as left as the donation class of our party, or the interns and staffers who have the ears of our representatives. Economically, the country is far further left, far enough to make room for a Trump with his promises not to tax tips, overtime, or SS.
The left side of our party is not working class orientated at all, I hear one prominent person claim working class bonafides when she graduated from an elite private college, the daughter of a credentialed professional, and coming from a town with million dollar houses.
A revolution of the entitled somehow rings false. If there are left wing populists they are populists who earn between $200,000 and $500,000 complaining about billionaires. I'm not saying it can't happen, but if it does, it will be disliked by corporate Dems and Trustafarians equally.
Three fifths of voters are working class. Hillary told us to go jump in a lake, Harris tried to replace us with more compliant servants, Republicans offer us a carney barker, there is potential to win elections there somewhere.
