1. Does anyone want to bet that Iran doesn't have a couple of nucs in the basemant as hole cards.

Oh, but that couldn't happen. Couldn't happen because why? Given that we all know Russia and Pakistan are corrupt to the core, why would you think that some general somewhere wouldn't sell Iran a nuc or two for a few million bucks. That is not all that far fetched.

There are other possibilities. It is safe to assume they already have at least some uranium enriched to 60%. It is my understanding that going from 60% to 90% is straight forward and relatively fast. So the Iranians could have a super secret crash program to produce just enough enriched uranium to build a single bomb. They certainly have the technical expertise.

Seriously threatening the very existence of the Iranian regime might be a good way to test that theory.
