2. I know the feeling and

right after the powers that be let Nixon off the hook with a slap on the wrist and a cushy retirement I withdrew from paying any attention to news/politics. I was so burned out after the battles of the '60's and then the fiasco of letting a supreme crook show the country that he could avoid prison with a sweet deal.

But after I came "up for air" so to speak I found that horrible crap continued on in Central America, Cambodia, Africa etc. I felt bad that all of that went on and I didn't know and speak out. But at the same time I had to turn off the madness in order to save myself so I could come back for another round.

Maybe there is some sort of "medium" attention I could have paid. I don't know. But I'm getting the same feeling again. Burned out at the madness, cowardice, corruption, hate and stupidity.
