1. Your vision changes may be due to blood sugar

If that is the case, as you get better control of your sugars your vision will stabilize. That was my first overt symptom that I had high sugar- I couldn't focus well. Went to the eye doc and he said I should get a glucose test as this may be from the onset of type II diabetes. He was right-I tested 550+. The doctor said that the high concentration of sugar in the blood can draw some of the fluid out of the eye causing it to sag a bit thus unable to focus clearly.

In any case with diabetes go to the ophthalmologist regularly so they can track and serious changes in your eyes.
