I kinda hate to say this, but it's become tragically obvious, to me, at least, that too many of today's activists have become caught up in meaningless "privilege" debates, and totally unnecessary infighting(can you say, Mikki Kendall or Suey Park, anyone?), while the goddamn Teabaggers continue to make some very real assaults on the very rights that many women(and some men)fought valiantly to have recognized by society.

These folks are scary, ladies and gentlemen. If you think they'll stop at abortion and birth control.....just you wait, if the Goppers aren't stopped, they'll go after divorce next....and probably even farther than that.

I guess there is still plenty of hope, as many folks from all walks of life, from across the board, are indeed standing up and taking whatever action they can to turn the tables. But now is the time to set aside our differences and work together. Because if we don't, then everyone suffers. And nobody wants that.
