certain advantages. However, there numerous good examples of people who suffered debilitating depression, or other mental issues but nevertheless managed to produce highly creative or groundbreaking work in the arts, sciences or politics. Sir Isaac Newton, Winston Churchill, Abe Lincoln, Mozart, Nicola Tesla, Virginia Wolfe, Eugene O'Neil, Leo Tostoy, Vincent Van Gogh, Ludwig Beethoven, Michelangelo, and many others suffered depression or other mental disorders.
