Members of Denver's largest synagogue, Temple Sinai, came together with other local volunteers after 911 to provide protective escorts for Muslim residents traveling for groceries, to work, or to the largest mosque- the Islamic Center of Denver. As I was working in the area, I joined in these efforts, and it was one of the most encouraging experiences to come from that time of horrific tragedy.
The changes throughout the globe since are soul-crushing. That this has spread to Boulder is wrenching.
for all lost and all suffering from targeted hate and violence...May we live to see positive change and a return of hope.
