In DU, groups are different than forums. This is a group for Christian liberals. It is not intended as a place to debate the merits of faith. The Group's Statement of Purpose states: "A group for Christians and Christian-friendly persons who would like to have an open discussion about our faith and its role in the world around us. Our group will provide a safe haven for discussion and support, and find ways to express our beliefs in positive, non-threatening ways."

Christian liberals are despised by conservative Christians and mocked by non-Christian liberals. This group is one of the few places that Christian liberals can discuss issues important to us and support each other. Common courtesy requires that you abide by the rules of any group when posting in that group.
