13. We're not a reconciling

though I wish we were. (Just too small town right now.) We have a number of very liberal members, though, and are very proactive in our community action/services.

There are very few reconciling congregations in the state of Missouri so it's not surprising that we're not one of them. I know of at least one, in Kansas City, who will not marry anyone inside the church walls until the state grants the right for all to marry legally inside the church. I really like that about them.
