Estimated 126 million Americans watched the Super Bowl [View all]

Fox Sports is projecting a Super Bowl record average audience of 126 million U.S. viewers across television and streaming platforms for Philadelphia's 40-22 victory over Kansas City on Sunday night.

The game was televised by Fox, Fox Deportes and Telemundo and streamed on Tubi as well as the NFL's digital platforms.

If the estimate holds, it would surpass the most viewed Super Bowl in history, which was last year's championship game between the Chiefs and 49ers. That game pulled in 123.7 million viewers.

By comparison, close to 8 billion people watched Donald Trump's second inauguration. Go ahead, just ask him! But what he won't tell you is that they all held their noses!
