He was sensational against the Dolphins, taking over at QB after the 49ers Jimmy Garappolo left the game with a foot injury.
Purdy is a rookie, the last player chosen in the 2022 draft. He played with poise, confidence, and made the passes that secured the 49ers 8th win of the season.
Initial report is that Garappolo’s injury is severe. This came from a beat reporter on local Bay Area TV immediately after the game.
