... contenders in the following years with Ewers as their QB, if they surround him with sufficient talent. Wide receivers with great hands will be important for Ewers' very strong arm. He reminds me of John Elway with his arm strength!

I knew that he'd transfer back to Texas after his one-year NIL stint at Ohio State (NIL income wasn't legal in Texas at that time), especially since he wasn't going to beat out CJ Stroud as a late-arriving freshman.

Speaking of the Buckeyes, I think they have a great chance of winning another national title this year. After Stroud goes to the NFL, though, such aspirations seem very unlikely. Especially with Ewers back in his home state of Texas.

The future looks bright in Texas, though!
