I've published four books with Amazon, and I love the KDP program.

They have a word format that you can download and use as your Word Doc, but for some reason it sometimes gets mangled because the soft page breaks get lost, throwing the page numbers off.

I had to go in and electronically include hard breaks to separate chapters, otherwise the page numbers wouldn't line up with my TOC.

Your wife's novel sounds good, although at this moment, I don't have the money to spare.

Fortunately, it's part of the Kindle Unlimited program, and I might download it later. I'm in the middle of fourteen different books, while also writing my fifth book, and I probably won't get to it for a while.

Anyway, good luck to the both of you and thanks for sharing.

ETA: ONE QUESTION, are either you or your wife enrolled in the KDP "Select" program?
