did you read that one? The husband was a scam artist who established a semi-legitimate business in the 1980s selling some sort of medical device (I can't remember what it was). He imagined himself as a great golfer, and he acquired golf-grifters who also went along with the plan to murder his wife, but it all went wrong, of course.

The subjects weren't famous people but it was a great true story.
