and one cantyake actions which send one closer to the top, or closer to the bottom, of that range, but not move much, if at all, beyond it (always excepting Darwin Award candidates). I also suspect that one never completely overcomes many stupid things one does in one's youth IIRC Simmons was very unfit before he got fit himself James Fixx, though, I don't remeber that of him.
