Once again I ran out of reading material and took advantage of Amazon primes once a month free Kindle book. The last one I got was worth the price but this one, WOW! The Girl from Krakow: A Novel by Alex Rosenberg. It begins in war time Poland and then backs up to pre WW2 Poland and works forward. The girl is Jewish but looks Aryan who marries a young doctor to get warm. She gets food and heat but very little in the way of warmth from the doctor. That's as much as I want to reveal. I hope some others here at DU pick up this book. I'm on page 96 of 446 and can't wait to get back to it.
