2. I'm reading The Women for my historical fiction

book club. One of my school classmates served as a nurse in Viet Nam and described her experience there and her return home exactly as what's in this book. I feel as if I'm listening to my friend again.

for her and at the government war machine.
I also read Andersonville, probably in 1960. Still remember descriptions from it.
