here in KS. They burst through her door and she promptly had a heart attack and died. I followed the case for as long as I could, but I never learned just what happened to all the players in that bit of an attack on her/our civil rights... especially the business owner/complainant who ordered police to do the raid.

We truly were shocked and surprised when that happened. These days, it seems like they keep trying to one-up the last civil rights bust. If you haven't figured it out by now, we've crossed the democracy-autocracy line and straight into the Police State (especially if you're a woman or POC).

Warrants are such archaic pieces of paper, you know. In these days of no-knock warrants and no-knock, no-warrants the old vision of Russian soldiers and police busting down the doors of the proletariat are now common practice in the United States, as are the black masked/black van, off-the-street, kidnapping of anybody.

Does anyone remember how the protests outside the Turkish embassy during trump's first term went down? I'm concerned trump could plan something like that... or worse... for any large assembly of protestors on the National Mall these days. He's totally lost his freaking mind. And, like most people with dementia, is completely unpredictable with reference to their actions, speech, or level of violence.
