I’m getting to the point where I prefer our home-made ones to delivery ones - even though we don’t have a pizza oven.

BTW, what is it that gives New York pizza sauces that distinctive smell? We were in NY recently and the smell was noticeable when we walked into the pizzeria. I’ve heard it’s fennel, but fennel seeds don’t seem to have that effect on our sauces
