3. All it takes is one miniscule slip up that you might not ever realize you made

I had a friend who was ULTRA cautious - masking, sanitizing, hand washing, social distancing - she did everything right but all it took was one mistake, maybe touching her face as a reflex and never even realizing she did it. She contracted Covid and it killed her.

Now, I'm not looking at masking for another 5 years, but despite being fully vaccinated, I'm not yet tossing my masks. I just do not yet have full confidence we are out of the woods. The next month, or so, will be interesting. We still aren't at a 50% fully vaccinated rate. My guess is vaccination rates are going to plummet and variants are going to strengthen and flourish. I truly hope I'm wrong.
