The thing is, if she had given him her address and he raped her, she would have been blamed because she gave him her address.

People wonder why women have "attitudes." This shit is not an isolated incident. Men like this do not live in a vacuum. He is most likely showing this exchange with his buddies and laughing about how he put her in her place. Then when he gets caught raping a women they will be all surprised because he is such a nice guy, the woman must be lying.
