1. The DOJ is aware (at last) that this is a crisis.

While it is difficult to be involved directly in On-Reservation law inforcement due to treaties and soverignty of the tribes the DOJ has found a way to fund on reservation law enforcement for this issue.

Is it enough? Can there ever be enough? I don't know but it's at least on the agenda for the DOJ.
