need to have an immediate and unconditional cease fire. Hamas needs to release all the hostages. Israel needs to release from its prisons any Palestinians being held, but not charged.

Bibi doesn't want to do this, because it would probably mean his coalition would collapse, and he would be facing jail time. Hamas won't do it, because, well they are Hamas.
