IMAGINE - "you may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one" [View all]

Given the historic animosity and subjugation / enforced poverty of Gaza, I wonder if Gaza should be rebuilt and relocated with funds from the USA, Israel and others, further away from Israel, 25 miles west somewhere near Al Arish (Sinai), Egypt, population:150,000+.

This special zone could be jointly governed for a while by Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Israel. Its 2 million citizen population would be subsidized gradually up to regional citizen income norms and funded proportional to the GDP of each governing party (with more coming from the non-governing USA to offset reduced military support requirements.)

Any Israeli rebuild or resettlement within the old abandoned Gaza Strip area by Israel would be taxed heavily to support the rebuild/relocation.
