This is a tragedy for poor inter-generational North Koreans brought up in a totalitarian regime where their lives mean absolutely nothing. And corpulent supremo Kim Jong-un is both pocketing the monthly $2,200 salaries of these poor devils while getting technical assistance for his growing WMD program.

About the FSB officer getting whacked in Moscow, there may be something more to this. Both the victim and the suspect are young and inexperienced. When someone is being investigated or is under discreet surveillance, they usually don't know about it. Either the dead FSB officer was harassing the victim or they had a personal grudge with each other from their previous assignment in the Russian Far East. Maybe there is a woman involved. We'll see what the dissident Russian or Ukrainian press come up with.
