threshold was not met, I am told that the Officers are working 12 hour shifts at some facilities, until they have enough staff to run "normally".. Not only are the 2000 officers being barred from employment , many, number unknown yet, are being fined 2 for 1 for be AWOL, per NYS Taylor law. Yesterday the CO union and the state were in court for hearings on the fines..Also upcoming cancelling their health insurance hearing will be held... Some of the National Guard will remain temporary for support.
