With what you've told me and the link PoliticAverse gave me I think I can do it now. Thanks for the help.

I'm off to happy trails now

Actually it'll be later this afternoon before I try but I'm convinced it can be done, just not with my beloved ubuntu 10.04. Time for me to come around and upgrade anyway.
