page that suggests thunderbird or applemail for mbox. I'm not sure how to proceed. So far, I have no access to the gmail archive and the 2nd zip file mysteriously disappeared as soon as it downloaded.

Any thoughts much appreciated! Thanks for getting me this far so far.

ETA: I don't really understand the instructions I mentioned above. I'm not fluent with computerspeak.
