If someone wants to collect lists of privacy-preserving setting (that is, wretched "defaults" to turn off) great!

Otherwise, I'll make up such a list.

I hang around Hacker News (https://news.ycombinator.com) and read daily about assaults on privacy.

As an aside, I downloaded the latest Tails distribution (https://tails.boum.org) for my own experimentation/use.
