7. If the tariffs remain what is going to happen to the Canadian car industry?

Specifically, the large plants owned by General Motors, Ford and Stellantis. If like I heard, many Canadians are boycotting US companies, and exporting the vehicles to the US isn't economically feasible due to the tariffs, does it make sense to keep those plants running at regular production levels?

It would be cool if Canada developed their own car industries starting from design all the way through production.
