They just can't bring themselves to pass maps legitimately.

I sense a game here. I suspect the Dems do, too. Why tf do they want to make this exception to cover the next few months only?

It's not that they can resign and then run under the old maps because they would still have to run in November anyway under Wisconsin election law. As for the state senators whose term extends until 2026, the WisSC gets to decide if these maps apply sooner no matter what's passed now. So far they haven't voiced interest in that.

It's like they just want to fuck with everything just to have something to run on that's not really a thing.
