IN A CITY OF ~20,000 word/rumors travel fast. Almost everybody in the city knows of at least one or more persons who have been laid off. Sometimes it is an entire department that is terminated at once and replaced by tele-medicine or something else.

Leadership of the clinic has decided to challenge the taxation of clinic properties in a lawsuit that has now entered it's 3rd year...loss of those tax revenues to the City, School Board, and County governments will be devastating if they are successful.

The Marshfield Clinic was at once the shinning start of modern medicine. It has lost it's luster.
