6. Ah, yes. I was thinking I-395 was the loop. I-395 is the spur into DC. Makes sense now!

Damn, I lived three miles from that bridge for years. I used to pride myself in my knowlege of that geography. We walked/biked all over the DC area.

And I certainly remember the crash of Air Florida 90. I was in simulator training at the time. We studied that crash when I went through ALPA's airline accident investigation courses.

Thanks for clearing out some of my cobwebs!
