We watched The Big Year recently, with Steve Martin, Jack Black, & Owen Wilson. I'd never heard of it before, but I guess you go out & count as many different types of birds as you can in the course of a year. It's all based on the honor system, too. You don't even have to take photos, although a lot of participants do. It was quite interesting & entertaining.
