Life is confusing. I am of Italian ancestry, so I interpret words in a latin way for the most part. (*)

I also come from New England, home to Hahvid, Woosta and Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg.

Now, in California, home to Pittsburgh, Antioch, Albany, Concord, etc. plus Mah-RIN County ... life is confusing.

(*) OK, too make things worse, Italian and Spanish swap the hard and soft "C". So we have cerrado, closed ( sehr rahdo ) in Spanish, unlike cembalo, instrument ( CH em ba lo) in Italian.

Mannaggia!
