1. That's about the same number of early voters here in NM

during the first week of early voting. When you realize that the total number of registered voters in this state is in the 1,400,000 ballpark, that 250,000 looks YOOOOGE. And that's just the first week. The lines will appear next week as the relative procrastinators go in. On election day, the true procrastinators show up.

I don't think you can say much about the politics of people who vote early versus waiting until voting day. However, if the turnout stays this heavy, it's not good news for Republicans.
