2. I worry about our own little resident band of deer here

We have John Deer, 3 Jane Does, and one Baby Doe. I haven't seen them around the barn or pastures lately. We're in the middle of a bunch of gun nuts here.

On the other hand, my brother just sent me a pic of a 6 point buck he bagged. And the old disabled guy (that has a small herd of grandchildren living with him) that works for me part time got one too. It makes me sad, but at least I know those two families will eat every scrap of it.
