Rummaging around in the attic

I came across this setup used to photograph the late bloom stage of Dracaena fragrans or commonly known Corn Plant. During blooming they smell like an open bottle of the heaviest perfume you have ever encountered. Insects don’t seem drawn to them until this stage when they are less than visually appealing. These are 10’ tall so totally out of reach for macro photography, so I concocted this rig, consisting of a Sigma 150-600 f6.3, a 2X TC, and a full set of extension rings. It worked amazingly well as, cumbersome as it was. Late stage bloom colors are true, and yes, one of those is a mosquito .
