27. I have been in this, and other lookout towers, during incredibly bad weather.

In this lookout tower, just this year, I had: high winds (60+ mph), snow (August 28), lightning strikes (including a strike that ignited a fire 1000 feet downslope from the lookout .. very scary!), rain and hail, and many cold nights that the little propane heater just couldn't cut it. Additionally, I had many days of flying ant swarms along with the yellow jackets and ground hornets which feed on them.
