I finally had my LP Deluxe refretted six years ago. I put off having it done for years because the guys I'd trust to do the job wouldn't touch a bound neck. The luthier who finally did the job not only replaced the frets but also made a new hand-carved bone nut and replaced two potentiometers. The labor and parts cost $700 and were worth every penny.
