I remember as a kid spending hours outside in the snow.
We had a icerink in our back yard. It was there for at least 3 months. Getting to skate aroiund Ottawa on the Rideau canal which was mostly drained for the winter. l only remember one snow day. The teachers couldn't get to school. We were all there waiting.
Parents would drag us in before hypothermia.
Then we moved to teh Phoenix area..... freezer to oven.
