8. MS ain't nothing like LA

We lived 25 miles north of Slidell just across the state line. Cheap real estate was the draw. One thing we really enjoyed about Mississippi was the all you can eat catfish places out in the middle of nowhere. Out in the stirs. And the gulf coast was folksy with Bat St Louis, Pass Christian, Ocean Springs and other nice lil towns. But ya can’t beat Boudreaux, Thibodoux and the coonasses for a good time.
